It addresses local issues, manages projects and services, and promotes community well‑being. Councillors, whether elected or co‑opted, work transparently and ethically, following Codes of Conduct, Standing Orders, and Financial Regulations. By engaging residents and providing a forum for local decision‑making, Community Councils ensure voices are heard and help shape services that matter. Sensory Sessions 🌈 CW Sensory Sanctuary has partnered with St Athan Community Council to bring free mobile sensory sessions to Paul Lewis Community Centre for children with ALN. Calm, relaxed and sensory-led, sessions support confidence and development through play.
