Public Meeting Update: Clive Road Field Development

• Green Space & Environment: The field is the area’s last green space, used by residents and children. Concerns were expressed about wildlife loss and informal play areas. A Village Green application is being explored.
• Community & Children: Safety, school routes, and family impact were highlighted, especially with potential traffic increases.
• Infrastructure: Worries about traffic, public transport, schools, medical facilities, and sewage systems coping with new housing.
• Scale of Development: Attendees expressed concern about over development in the area.
• Alternative Options: Support for building on brownfield sites, including former MOD properties, rather than green spaces.
