Children’s Craft Event – Summer Bug Hotels
St Athan Community Council is delighted to announce the first of its new Children’s Craft Events, which will take place on Saturday 1st August 2026 at the Old School Hall, Church Lane, St Athan.
The first event will have a seasonal summer theme of Bug Hotels. Children attending will be able to get creative and make their very own bug hotel to take home.
The event will run from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm and is free to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.
Places are limited to a maximum of 12 children, so booking is required in advance. Parents and guardians must remain with their children throughout the event.

Digwyddiad Crefft i Blant – Gwestai Trychfilod yr Haf
Mae Cyngor Cymuned Sain Tathan yn falch o gyhoeddi’r cyntaf o’i Ddigwyddiadau Crefft i Blant newydd, a gynhelir ar ddydd Sadwrn 1af Awst 2026 yn Yr Hen Neuadd Ysgol, Church Lane, Sain Tathan.
Bydd thema’r digwyddiad cyntaf yn addas ar gyfer yr haf: Gwestai Trychfilod. Bydd plant sy’n mynychu yn cael cyfle i fod yn greadigol a gwneud eu gwesty trychfilod eu hunain i fynd adref gyda nhw.
Bydd y digwyddiad yn rhedeg rhwng 11.00 am a 1.00 pm ac mae’n rhad ac am ddim i fynychu. Bydd lluniaeth ysgafn ar gael.
Mae lleoedd wedi’u cyfyngu i uchafswm o 12 o blant, felly mae angen archebu lle ymlaen llaw. Rhaid i rieni a gwarcheidwaid aros gyda’u plant drwy gydol y digwyddiad.
