St Athan Community Council is committed to upholding the highest standards of governance, transparency, and accountability in its operations.

To achieve this, the Council maintains a comprehensive framework of policies, including but not limited to Standing Orders, Financial Regulations, Councillor Code of Conduct, Data Protection and Privacy Policies.

These policies provide clear guidance on the conduct of Council meetings, responsible management of public funds, adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, protection of personal data, and the promotion of a safe and inclusive environment for the community.

By implementing and regularly reviewing these governance instruments, St Athan Community Council ensures that its activities are carried out with integrity, fairness, and in the best interests of the residents it serves.”

Code of Conduct V2.0 was adopted at the Full General Council Meeting on Tuesday 3rd February by a unanimous vote (10 in favour, 0 against) under Minute Reference 3362.
