New Memorial Bus Shelter Mural Completed

St Athan Community Council is delighted to share the completed artwork on the memorial bus shelter.

Created by the incredibly talented ArtSian, the colourful mural beautifully captures the history, heritage and character of our local community. It features a wonderful collection of familiar local scenes and landmarks, creating an eye-catching piece of public art for residents and visitors to enjoy.

The Council would like to thank ArtSian for her creativity, hard work and dedication to this special community project. We are delighted with the finished result and have already received some lovely comments about the mural.

This is not the end of the project. Work on a second mural at the Four Cross bus shelter is expected to begin within the next few weeks.

The new mural will showcase the winning designs created by Evie and Emmie, the winners of St Athan Community Council’s Art Competition. Their artwork will be incorporated into the permanent mural, creating a lasting celebration of their creativity and our community.

We look forward to seeing the second mural take shape and sharing its progress with everyone.

Murlun Newydd y Lloches Fysiau Goffa Wedi’i Gwblhau

Mae Cyngor Cymuned Sain Tathan yn falch iawn o rannu’r gwaith celf gorffenedig ar y lloches fysiau goffa.

Wedi’i greu gan yr hynod dalentog ArtSian, mae’r murlun lliwgar yn cyfleu hanes, treftadaeth a chymeriad ein cymuned leol yn hyfryd. Mae’n cynnwys casgliad gwych o olygfeydd a thirnodau lleol cyfarwydd, gan greu darn trawiadol o gelf gyhoeddus i drigolion ac ymwelwyr ei fwynhau.

Hoffai’r Cyngor ddiolch i ArtSian am ei chreadigrwydd, ei gwaith caled a’i hymroddiad i’r prosiect cymunedol arbennig hwn. Rydym wrth ein bodd â’r canlyniad terfynol ac eisoes wedi derbyn sylwadau hyfryd am y murlun.

Nid dyma ddiwedd y prosiect. Disgwylir i’r gwaith ar ail furlun yn lloches fysiau Four Cross ddechrau o fewn yr ychydig wythnosau nesaf.

Bydd y murlun newydd yn arddangos y dyluniadau buddugol a grëwyd gan Evie ac Emmie, enillwyr Cystadleuaeth Gelf Cyngor Cymuned Sain Tathan. Bydd eu gwaith celf yn cael ei ymgorffori yn y murlun parhaol, gan greu dathliad parhaol o’u creadigrwydd a’n cymuned.
